CabinetFit / Support

Help with your room project.

Scan or draw a room, review its dimensions, and prepare technical PDF documentation for a kitchen project. Here is how to get help along the way.

Start with a room

Scan a room with a LiDAR-equipped iPhone or iPad, draw a floor plan manually, or import a USD-family model from the Projects screen. No account is required.

Select the walls you need, adjust dimensions, then open the project view to review plans, add notes, drawings, photos or documents, and export a PDF.

Common questions

Do I need LiDAR?

Only room scanning requires a compatible LiDAR-equipped device. Manual floor-plan drawing and model import are available without LiDAR. The current app requires iOS or iPadOS 26.1 or later.

How do I export a PDF?

Open your prepared project in Project View and choose Export to PDF. Use the system share sheet to save the file or send it through an app you choose.

Where are my projects stored?

Projects, client records, notes and attachments are stored in the app on your device. CabinetFit does not provide its own cloud sync. System backups may include this data, depending on your device settings. Files you export are stored wherever you choose to save them.

Why does voice dictation ask for permission?

Dictating notes requires microphone and speech-recognition permission. Recognition runs on the device when supported; otherwise audio may be sent to Apple for processing. You can type notes instead and change permissions in device Settings.

How do I remove my data?

Delete projects and their attachments using the app controls. A client with assigned projects cannot be deleted until those projects have been removed. Exported files and system backups are managed separately and are not removed by deleting a project.

How should I check measurements?

Review and verify dimensions before using them for an estimate, ordering materials or fabrication. Scans are a starting point; you can correct supported dimensions in the app.
